ELIZABETH (BETTY) A. DOUDT
KING, WISCONSIN Elizabeth (Betty) A. Doudt (nee Bailey) was born to eternal life at age 90 on November 30, 2013 in King, WI. Betty is survived by her loving husband Ruggles (Russ) age 94. Dear Mom of Pat Nissen (O’Fallon, MO), Chuck (Ruth) Doudt (Crossville, TN), Rick (Sharon) Doudt (Dunlap, TN) and Deb (John) Fabrycki (New Berlin, WI). Betty is further survived by 7 grandchildren: Mark Nissen (Glendale, WI), Todd Nissen (Green Bay, WI), Lisa Stauguard (Ocean View, HI), Becky Doudt (Fort Mill, SC), Ben Doudt (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia), Elizabeth Fabrycki (Seattle, WA) and Jon Fabrycki (New Berlin, WI). Betty was born in Duluth, MN and came to Milwaukee as a young bride. She and her husband traveled extensively in retirement and ultimately settled in King, WI. Betty was a music lover who passed her passion on to her children and grandchildren. She always had a very gentle spirit and a smile for everyone. Betty’s faith carried her through good and difficult times on her earthly journey. She is now singing and dancing in the presence of her maker and BFF Jesus. Special thanks to the compassionate staff at the Wisconsin Veteran’s Home at King for their loving care. Visitation and memorial service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Main Chapel on Marden Avenue on the Wisconsin Veteran’s Home grounds at King. Visitation will be from 10:15AM to 11:00AM – followed by the memorial service at 11:00AM. Further celebration of Betty’s life will take place following the service at TW Martin’s Public House, downtown Waupaca, WI. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in Betty’s name to: Wisconsin Veteran’s Home, ATTN: For AH Dementia Units, N2665 County Road QQ, King, WI 54946.
