Ellen Taylor's Obituary
Ellen F. Taylor, age 91, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Tuesday, April 8th, 2008 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born May 17, 1916, the daughter of Fred and Christena (Nelson) Yorkson. Ellen married Clair Taylor on June 2, 1940 in Waupaca. He precdeded her in death on October 5, 2000. She enjoyed gardening and playing cards with her friends. Ellen treasured the time spent with her family. She is survived by her Daughter: Barbara (Kenneth) Tourville, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: Terri (John) Williams, Freedom, WI; Tammy Tourville, Menasha, WI; Todd (Pam) Tourville, Appleton, WI; Great Grandchildren: Jared & Jack Williams; Rachel & Mitchel Opsahl; Phillip Mueller, Kayla Weber, and Madison Tourville; Brother: Leonard (Vera) Yorkson, Weyauwega, WI; Special Niece: Rose McLain, Palatine, IL. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clair; and four sisters, Esther, Helen, Hazel, and Lydia. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, April, 11, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca with Reverend Nate Liedtke officiating. Interment will be in Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. A visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family.
