Dean and I are thinking of all of you as you gather together to celebrate your father's life. We are at our sons home in Atanta for the week-end and will not be able to share this celebration of Uncle Duke. Dean has been sharing with our son and his wife his many found memories of his Uncle and trips to Waupaca. It is with fondness that we smile about these days gone by.

So sorry to hear of Duke's passing. He was a marvelous man, an inspiration to many, it was an honor and joy to have known him.
Please accept my sincere condolences. Todd emailed me the news of your dad's passing. It's never easy to accept death, whether it's sudden or has been a long time in coming, but I can appreciate the sadness in watching a parent deteriorate mentally, yet knowing they're in a far better place when they go. My mom suffered from Alzheimer's. Our parents of Jefferson Street guided us through good times and bad, and now they enjoy a much deserved rest. Take care all of you . . . Georgia Olson Taylor
