Age 83 – died on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, WI. He was born on August 18, 1929, the son of Milo and Mary Hungerford. Elmer had shared over 30 years of his life with his Life Partner, Sharon Albright, and she preceded him in death on May 25, 2008.
Elmer is survived by his brothers: Stanley (Donna) Hungerford, Jerome (Barb) Hungerford, and Donald Hungerford, extended family members: Dawn (Charles) Jones and Debra (Keith) Jones, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his Life Partner, Sharon, his parents, seven brothers, a sister, and Diane Albright.
Elmer had worked a number of various jobs around the Waupaca area.
A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 1:30 PM, with the Reverend Bob Hanson, officiating. Interment will be in Park Cemetery in Ogdensburg, WI at a later date. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Tuesday from 12:30 – 1:30 PM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI assisted the family with arrangements.
