Eric Erickson's Obituary
Eric Erickson, 67, of Amherst, passed peacefully away in his home on May 22, 2023.
Eric was born on November 8, 1955, to Edward and Virginia Erickson in Madison, Wisconsin. After Eric graduated from Madison La Follette High School in 1974, he spent a year at UW La Crosse before pursuing work and adventure in Colorado. He moved back to Wisconsin to marry Susan Erickson, shortly thereafter having their daughter, Emily Erickson. He also assumed partial care of Sue’s kids, Brittany and Travis Dick.
Eric went on to build a career in fine home finishing, woodworking, and construction, and spent his time golfing, fishing, snowmobiling, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and sharing his kind, generous spirit with those whom he loved.
Eric was preceded in death by his mother and father, Virginia and Edward Erickson, his former spouse Susan Erickson, and his sister Karla Erickson. He is survived by his children Emily Erickson, Brittany Dick, and Travis Dick; his sister Gina Erickson; and the Lutz/Wright family, whom he considered a part of his own.
Services will be held at a later date, and anyone wishing to take part is welcome to reach out to the family.
