Age 30 – died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born on March 2, 1979 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, the son of Alvin and Darla (Challoner) Stubbe. He married Stacey Everts on February 14, 2004 in Waupaca.
Eric is survived by his wife; Stacey, daughters; Hannah Mae and Kylee Rae Stubbe, step-daughter; Morgan Marie Tessen, mother and step-father; Darla and James Woiak of Stevens Point, father; Alvin T. Stubbe, Sr. of Big Flats, brother; Chris Stubbe of Plainfield, and mother-in-law and father-in-law; Sue and David Everts of Amherst. He was preceded in death by a brother; Alvin Theodore Stubbe, Jr., and his grandparents.
Eric had been employed with the Gagnow Pallet Company in New London for about three years. Eric enjoyed spending time at home with his girls.
A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Father Don Everts, officiating. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home on Tuesday from Noon until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in the name of Eric D. Stubbe. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
