Erika Dickerson's Obituary
Erika M. Dickerson, age 66, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Thursday, April 3rd, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Hof, Germany on February 22, 1942, a daughter of the late Alfred and Maria (Dinkel) Fuchs. Erika married Robert L. Dickerson on October 14, 1959 in Symbach, Germany. Erika loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed viewing nature, she loved flowers, plants and animals. In her younger years, she loved to swim.. Survivors include her Husband: Robert Dickerson, Waupaca, WI; Daughters: Sharon (Mike Thomason) Dickerson, Waupaca, WI; Angie (Eric) Halverson, Waupaca, WI; Teresa (Matt) Gardner, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: Jason Funderwhite, Erika Funderwhite, Alex Becker, Kyle Halverson, Jennifer Halverson and Mason Gardner all of Waupaca; Sisters: Doyle Wolf, Troegen, Germany; Edel Gruener, Oberkatzau, Germany. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Erika was preceded in death by her parents, uncle, Hans Dinkel, niece, Angelica Wolf and an aunt, Anna Krueger. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 from 4 until 7 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Portage County Hospice.
