Esther Peterson's Obituary
Esther E. Peterson, age 88, of Almond, WI, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. She was born in Grafton, WI on July 22, 1920, the daughter of Theodore and Martha (Lucht) Eickstedt. Esther married Robert Peterson on April 8, 1962 in Grafton.
She and Robert lived on the family farm where she enjoyed being a homemaker. Esther enjoyed taking care of her cats as well as other farm activities. She was a member of the Almond Seventh Day Adventist Church where she held the position of deaconess for many years. She is survived by Husband: Robert Peterson, Almond, WI; Sister: Eleanor Eickstedt, Hinsdale, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Edward Eickstedt; and one sister, LaVerne Peterson. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond, with Pastor David Guerrero officiating. Interment will be in the Almond Village Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
