Esther M. Williams' Obituary
Esther M. Williams, age 86, of Wild Rose, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at Wild Rose Manor. She was born in Mt. Morris, WI, on July 17, 1932, a daughter of the late Robert and Mabel (Hanson) Williams.
She developed Cerebral Palsy shortly after birth, giving her many challenges, but she never let that slow her down.
Esther attended Brownlow School and Wild Rose Grade School. She was an avid reader and had an excellent memory. She loved "word search" books, playing cards and was an avid dog lover. All the family's dogs greeted her and jumped into her lap, bringing a big smile to Esther's face.
The past few years had been tough on her, but she still greeted everyone, by name, with a big smile and outstretched arms to give them a warm hug.
Esther is survived by 2 Sisters: Beulah Dickson and Marjorie Voruda; one Sister-in-law: Ginny Williams; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 Brothers - Griffith, Kenneth and Oliver; 1 Sister - Gertrude Ziebell, 2 Sisters-in-law - Mardell Williams and Marilyn Williams, and 3 Brothers-in-law - Jack Voruda, Martin Ziebell and Arnold Dickson.
A Celebration of Esther's Life will be held at Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church at 1 PM on Saturday, November 17th, 2018, with Reverend Barb Girod, officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 12:00 (Noon) until the time of the service at the church.
In lieu of gifts or flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. As Esther received assistance from Cerebral Palsy over the years, the family suggests donations to local CP organizations.
