Ethelyn Rasmussen's Obituary
Ethelyn Mae Rasmussen, age 92, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Wednesday, May 14th, 2008 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born in Waupaca on July 22, 1915, the daughter of Fred and Frances (Nelson) Smith. Ethelyn married Robert Peter Rasmussen on November 17, 1934. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1999. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. She is survived by Daughter: Charlotte (Richard) Murray, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: Todd Murray, Oak Creek, WI; Tammi (Bruce) Dillman, Waupaca, WI; Steve (Kayla) Murray, Waupaca, WI; and Stacie Schultz, Waupaca, WI; Great Grandchildren: Hollie, Brandon, Nicole, Stephanie, Shane, Melissa, Michael, Matthew, and McKena; Great Great Grandchildren: Malik and Charlotte; Sister: Shirley (Lyle) Krause, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and Sister-in-law: May Stocker, Waupaca, WI. Etheyln is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Husband, Robert, Sister, Lois Polen, four Brothers, Glenn, Junior, Ron, and Gerald Smith and three Sisters-in-law: Eva, Marjorie, and Helen Smith and a Brother-in-law, William Polen. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2008 Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca on Monday. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 2:30 PM until the time of the service.
