"Beautiful Ships That Pass In The Night"
These are the people that have crossed my life on earth.
Those who have made the greatest impressions in my life.
Gene and Romie by far were the "Most Amazing Beautiful Ships."
Romie with her kind loving care taking ways.
A mentor to me and so much fun.
Gene with his strong but gentle, firm but kind ways.
And always a gentleman in every way.
Gene and Romie were my adopted God parents.
I love them both so very much. I will truly miss them.
I am happy they are together again.
Sailing together as "One Beautiful Ship!"
My prayers are with all the daughters. Or as Gene and Romie would say Our Girls. And also with all of their family members.

I remember Gene well from our days at Weyauwega High School. When Gene was Prom King his Queen was my sister, Ardyce Koehler. I still have the picture of the "promenade" with those two leading the parade. He was a super nice guy and will be missed by his many friends.

My father, Eugene, is a humble modest man. He, as well as mother, Romelda, were strong Lutheran Christians. Of course we went to many services at Waupaca Immanuel Lutheran Church. 1120 Evans Street. Waupaca, WI. Along with multiple Christian classes for youngsters. Even with him being an introvert quite man, he taught me to allows be an early arrival to events/classes/services.
During church time, sermon, he always help my hand and used his thumb to stroke my hand. A comforting, loving demonstration from him.
Thank you Dad, say hello to Mom, Charlie, Cameron and Aunt Joanie. Continue walking with God.

Your father had the patience of saint. I have many fond memories of having sleep overs at your home and attending Church with your family.
