Evelyn H. Orban's Obituary
Mrs. Evelyn Harriet Orban, age 89, Scandinavia, WI, passed away Saturday, January 29th, 2005 at Appleton Medical Center, Appleton,Wisconsin. Mrs. Orban was born in South Elgin, Illinois on December 26, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Elsie (Knaak) Mock. She married Louis Orban in Elgin Illinois. They were married for 60 years. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2001. Evelyn was a member of Scandinavia Lutheran Church. Evelyn and Louis enjoyed traveling to Florida each winter. She liked camping, boating, golfing and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by Daughter: Sandy (Gordy) Schumacher, Scandinavia. Grandchildren: Gregg (Mary) Schumacher, Iola, WI; Sheri (Greg) Seubert, Waupaca, WI; Gary (Mary) Schumacher, Hastings, Minnesota. Great Grandchildren: Brandon, Jon, Bryan & Justin Schumacher; Dylan & Kyle Seubert; Special friend and Companion: Annie the cat. She is also survived by nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by a Twin Sister: Eleanor Grant. Memorial Service will be held at Scandinavia Lutheran Church, Scandinavia, Wisconsin. at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 5th, with Reverend Mark E. Sabin officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday 12-1 P.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to Scandinavia Lutheran Church.
