Evelyn Kolb's Obituary
Evelyn A. Kolb, age 88, of Waupaca, WI passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007 at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point, WI. Evelyn was born in West Allis, WI on August 13, 1918, the daughter of the late David and Margaret (Reid) Wilson. On August 9, 1945, Evelyn married August W. Kolb in West Allis, WI. Evelyn and Augie owned and operated Augie's Supermarket in Waupaca for over 22 Years.
Evelyn is survived by her husband: August of Waupaca, her daughter: Cheryl (Gary) Prell of Waupaca, her son, Douglas Kolb of Waupaca; two grandchildren: Corey (Sally) Prell and Shawn (Jackie) Prell; three great-grandchildren: Ellie, Max, and Gus; and a sister: Ethel Hoeft of Brookfield, WI. Evelyn was preceded in death by two brothers - George and David Wilson and four sisters - Clementine Johnson, Alice Clark, Barbara Wilhelm and Nancy Behnke.
The Funeral Service will be at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 17 with Rev. Fred Lueders, officiating. Interment will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, WI. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home.
