Evelyn T. Loecher's Obituary
Evelyn “grandma” Loecher age 93 of Amherst, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 17, 2010. Evelyn was born on September 19, 1916 the daughter of Felix and Martha (Werowinski) Kenowski. For as long as she was able, her hands worked endlessly, making the loveliest quilts, cooking the most delicious meals, and tending her vegetable and flower gardens. Of all the jobs she held, caring for her family was her favorite. She always put others before herself. With her selfless, adoring nature, constant smile, and generous heart she affectionately became “Grandma Loecher” to all she met. She was everybody’s grandma. Her soul’s beauty radiated outward, reflecting God’s love in all she did and was. She was our constant beacon of light, endlessly shining despite any adversity she or we faced. She was our strength, our blessing … truly our angel on Earth. Heaven is lucky to have her.
