Everett Lord's Obituary
Everett LeRoy Lord, age 89, of Waupaca passed away Monday, September 12, 2005 at the Manawa Community Nursing Home. He was born in Percival, Iowa on September 7, 1916, the son of Charle A. and Mamie (Sligar) Lord.
Everett married Loraine Fjordbak on September 24, 1942 in Truesdale, Iowa. She preceded him in death in August 1978. Everett then married Della Schroeder on June 9, 1979 in Waupaca. She preceded him in death on December 11, 1992. He served as a Minister for the Assembies of God Churches in South Dakota and Minnesota.
Everett was a member of First Assembly of God Church Waupaca, Wisconsin. He is survived by his daughter: Ruth (Paul) Prescher, Delavan, Minnesota; Daughter-in-Law: Ruth Anne Lord, Manawa, Wisconsin; Step-sons: David (Diane) Schroeder, St. Charles, Missouri; Gary (Jan) Schroeder, Juno Beach, Florida; Alan (Vicki) Schroeder, Appleton, Wisconsin; Dale (Doris) Schroeder, Waupaca, Wisconsin; Brothers: Cecil (Norma) Lord, Farmington, Minnesota; George (Karen) Lord, Eagen, Minnesota; Thirteen Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives - Loraine and Della; his son - Dennis and his sister - Lucille. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 16, 2005 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with Reverend Nathan Schroeder and Mishelle Lord officiating. Interment will be in the Spencer Lake Memorial Park in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
