FLORENCE HATCH
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Florence Rita (Connelly) Hatch, born August 18, 1924 to Matthew and Nellie (Sweeney) Connelly, was called home to the Lord on November 17, 2012. She was raised in Chicago and worked during WWII while the soldiers protected our country. She held many accounting positions in the Zion, IL area. Her love for the outdoors and the lake was fulfilled in the many wonderful years she lived on Long Lake, Waushara Co., Saxeville, WI. She married the Light of her Life, John M. Hatch on May 26, 1946. Florence was a founding member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Zion, IL and a member of the women's club at OLH. She was Den Mother and Girl Scout leader to many. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be missed immensely. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, John Hatch of Waupaca; three children, John (Brenda) Hatch of Lake Villa, IL, Darlene (J) Williams of Beach Park, IL, and Debora (Tim) Klebe of Lake Villa, IL; Six Grandchildren, Jeremy Hatch, Megeon Bach, Kelly Williams, Jason Williams, Monica McCollom, and Bailey Hatch; and Twelve Great-Grandchildren. They were all as precious to her, as she was to them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Nellie Connelly; a son, William M. Hatch; and her siblings, Ella Mae Collins, Matthew Connelly, and Patricia Lafond. A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca, WI. Father Amalraj Roche will preside. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI on Wednesday. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. A special thank-you to the staff at Bethany Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice for all of their help and support given to our family. The special care Florence received will never be forgotten.
