FLORENCE L. HUSS
WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN Age 86 passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born May 4, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI; daughter of Leon and Emily (Garliske) Hebel. On September 7, 1940, Florence married Orville W. Huss in Milwaukee, WI. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1991. Florence and Orville retired to their summer home on Wilson Lake in Waushara Co. in 1978 and spent their winters in Florida. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and especially taking care of and vacationing with her grandchildren. Florence is survived by:

Daughter: Sue Peterson of Pine River, WI
Grandchildren: Lisa (Mike) Sorenson of Pine River, WI
Michael (Jessica) Huss of Appleton, WI
Stephanie (Randal) Groskreutz of Weyauwega, WI
Great-Grandchildren: Justin and Haley Hazlett, Megan and Alexis Huss, and Easton and Parker Groskreutz
Sister: Sylvia Hebel of Milwaukee, WI She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Orville Huss, son-in-law, Thomas Peterson, and a sister, Esther Rogowski. A Graveside Service will be on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at 4:00 PM at the Saxeville Union Cemetery in the Town of Saxeville, WI. Reverend George Waddell will officiate. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Bethany Home Memorial Fund for Florence Huss. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements. A special thank-you to Dr. Robert Peterson and to Bethany Home for all of their special loving care for our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
