Florence M. Fredrickson's Obituary
Mrs. Florence M. Fredrickson, age 96, of Waupaca, formerly of King, passed away Thursday, August 16th, 2007 at Bethany Home. Mrs. Fredrickson was born in Oconto, Wisconsin on October 28, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lena (VanHulle) Windey. On April 14, 1936, she married Walter Fredrickson in Waukegan, Illinois. He preceded her in death on Aug 15, 1944. Florence was the head cook at the Wisconsin Veterans Home for over 30 years. She was a member at Trinity Lutheran Church. Florence enjoyed cooking, gardening reading and spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. She is survived by Daughter: Joan (James) Otterlee, Waupaca, WI; Sons: Miles W. Fredrickson, King, WI; Gene A. Fredrickson, Butte Des Morts, WI; Sisters: Helen Crooks, Green Bay; Margaret Doyle, South Daytona Beach, FL; Marian Tappa, Waupaca. Florence is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three Brothers: Raymond, Robert & Louis, Two Sisters: Cecile Routheau and Elizabeth Stromberg The Funeral Service will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, August 20th, with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews officiating. Interment will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King. Visitation will be held Monday from 11:30-1:00 P.M. at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca.
