Frances M. Junkens

Age 91 - died on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born on December 19, 1919 in Brennberg, Germany. She married Edgar J. Junkans on June 10, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1996.
Frances is survived by her two sons; Ron (Elaine) Junkans of Almond and James (Bonnie) Junkans of Green Bay, grandchildren; Leah (Jim) Steil and Mark (Tara) Junkans both of Oak Creek, Michael (Cindy) Junkans of Richland, Tanya Junkans, Kelly (Scott) Raber, and Christopher Junkans all of Green Bay. Frances is also survived by three great grandchildren; Joshua Steil, Jared Junkans, and Andrew Junkans, a brother, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar, her parents, and a brother.
She had been employed in the Food Service department for the Milwaukee Public School System for many years. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 0203 of Milwaukee.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 11:30 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park – Chapel of the Flowers in Brookfield, WI. A visitation will be held at the Chapel of the Flowers on Monday morning from 10:30 – 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with local arrangements.
