Frances L. Damrau's Obituary
Frances L. Damrau age 96 of Amherst, passed away on August 27, 2010 at the Iola Assisted Living Nursing Home. Frances was born on November 19, 1913, the daughter of Reinhold and Minnie (Ristow) Otto. Frances married the late Herman Damrau on August 30, 1933. She was homemaker her entire life. Frances is survived by three daughters June Sutheimer of Zephyrhills FL., Shirley (Alvin) Lutz of Amherst, and Marjorie (Gerald) Lutz of Amherst Junction; one son Byron (Lena) Damrau of Fon du Lac, WI; one sister Linna Petersen of Jackson, WI, sixteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Herman Damrau; her parents Reinhold and Minnie Otto; and two sisters Dorothy and Emma, and one grandson Norman. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 31, 2010 at 11 A.M. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst. Marjorie Langton will officiate with burial to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home and again Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 A.M. until the time of the service at 11 A.M.
