Francisco Alejandro Seneris Jr.'s Obituary
Francisco Alejandro Seneris, Jr., age 78, of Oneida, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Although, our hearts are heavily laden, it gives us comfort that he is no longer suffering with pain and is resting in the arms of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Francisco Alejandro Seneris, Jr. was born in the Philippines on August 25, 1946, to parents Francisco Seneris, Sr., and Aurora Tigas Seneris. He was drafted at the age of 18 into the Marine Corp. and sent to Vietnam. He was wounded in battle and released from the Marine Corp. in 1968. He was given the purple heart award for his bravery and injury he sustained from the war.
Francisco worked in Los Angeles County as a Deputy Sheriff for a decade and owned several businesses. He later went to work at Ventura County Sheriff’s Department where he retired as a Sheriff Service Technician after 19 years of service.
Francisco married his true love, Mercy Sarmiento Andico, in January 1970 and had been inseparable for over 55 years. They both had 2 children, Joseph Seneris and Aurora Seneris O’Brien. Francisco cherished his grandchildren and was a role model and strong pillar to them. His grandchildren are Jared Seneris, Isaiah Aaron, and their youngest granddaughter, Mercedes A. Seneris whom they adopted.
Francisco and Mercy were long-term residents from California. After 52 years of being a resident, they relocated to Wisconsin to live closer to their daughter, Aurora.
Frank was an honorable Christian man, devoted husband and father. His absence has left a hole in our hearts, but our faith reminds us we will see him again in God’s kingdom and will never be separated from each other again. Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
He was preceded in death by his only son, Joseph Seneris.
Military Honors will be held on Friday May 2, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
