FRANK A. FERLITSCH
KING, WISCONSIN
FORMERLY OF MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN Age 92, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. He was born April 26, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI; son of Frank and Mariya (Samoslur) Ferlitsch. After high school, Frank served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WWII as a radio instructor and taught Morse code to the pilots and the navigators. He married Joyce I. Heyen on November 17, 1945 in Litchfield, IL and they shared 57 years of marriage before her passing on May 22, 2003. Frank owned and operated a Heating and Air Conditioning Service in Milwaukee for many years. He will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends. Frank is survived by his six children, Mike, Nancy, Dorcie, Frank, Julianne, and James and their families; 16 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mariya Ferlitsch; his wife, Joyce Ferlitsch; one great-granddaughter, Candice Grace Jones; and three sisters, Caroline, Frances, and Mary. A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Olson Hall Chapel at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. Father Paul Vanden Hogen will preside. A visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:30 PM on Tuesday at the chapel. Burial of cremains will be at the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in the Town of Farmington following the service on Tuesday.
