Frank G. Ferdon's Obituary
Mr. Frank G. Ferdon, age 72, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home, formerly of Weyauwega, Wisconsin passed away Wednesday, February 4th, 2009. Mr. Ferdon was born in Wayne County, Michigan on June 25, 1936, he was the son of the late Gerald T. and Florence (Austin) Ferdon. He married Ruth Ann Odegard Ferdon on Jan 20, 1962 in Nashua, Iowa. Frank served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an automotive instructor at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton for 35 years. He retired in 1998. Frank was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Frank liked working on cars and enjoyed woodworking and loved horses and dogs. He is survived by his Wife: Ruth Ferdon, Weyauwega; Children: Terri Ferdon, Butte de Morts, WI; Linda Schillerstrom, Neenah; Frank R (Valerie) Ferdon, Whitehall, WI; Keith (Debbie) Ferdon, Motley, MN; Brothers: Walter (Nancy) Ferdon, Greenville, Indiana; David (Cathy) Ferdon, Walled Lake, MI; Marilyn Elmendorf, Walled Lake, MI. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren: Kyle Smietanski, DePere, Emily (Chris) Gerhardt, Butte de Morts, Alicia & Brian Schillerstrom, Neenah, Ashley, Frank W. & Timothy Ferdon, Whitehall, Brooke & Sawyer Ferdon, Motley, MN. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca at 11 AM on Saturday, February 7th, with Reverends Nate Liedtke and Wayne Schwanke officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10-11 AM. Interment of cremains will be in the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin. A.J. Holly & Sons LTD
