Frank Klismith's Obituary
Frank A. Klismith, age 70, of Amherst, passed away on Tuesday, August 15th, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. He was born in the Town of Stockton, Portage Co., on November 25, 1935, a son of the late Francis and Mary (Kruzitski) Klismith. He married Rita A. Glodowski on October 12, 1957 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church - Fancher. Frank was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Amherst and was also a member of the Amherst Lions Club. He loved his woodworking and enjoyed making things for his family and friends. Survivors include his Wife: Rita Klismith, Amherst; 5 Children: Thomas (Debra) Klismith, Plover; Laurie (Kevin) Meister, Wisconsin Rapids; Lisa Groshek, Stevens Point; Daniel (Krista) Klismith, Adel, IA; Mark (Tina) Klismith, Denver, CO; 11 Grandchildren; Sisters & Brothers: Regina Prondzinski, Milwaukee; Ray (Mary) Klismith, Stevens Point; Amelia Glodoski, Wisconsin Rapids; Leona (Chet) Bembenek, Custer; Betty (Frank) Skierka, Stevens Point; Edwin Klismith, Stevens Point; Kathleen Prondzinski, Wisconsin Rapids; Sisters-in-law: Phyllis Klesmith, Stevens Point; Helen Klismith, Stevens Point. Frank is further survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Henry and Benedict. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 18th, 2006, with Father Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Town of Stockton, Portage Co. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 until 9 PM at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, with a Rosary Service to be held at 7:30 PM. Visitation also on Friday at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established in the name of Frank Klismith.
