Frank Rusch's Obituary
Frank G. Rusch, age 81, of Plover, WI., passed away on Sunday, April 15th, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, WI. He was born in Town of Buena Vista, Portage Co., WI. on September 10, 1925, a son of the late Charles and Gertrude (Higgins) Rusch. Frank attended Pleasant Valley School. He married Evelyn A. Sopa on October 22, 1951 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Amherst, where he was also a member of the Holy Name Society. Frank enjoyed farming, gardening and visiting with friends and neighbors. He also loved watching his Grandchildrens' sporting events. Survivors include his wife Wife: Evelyn Rusch, Plover, WI; Children: Jack (Marjorie) Rusch, Amherst, WI; Dan (Jean Ann) Rusch, Plover, WI; Lori (Joe) Gendusa, Amherst, WI; Grandchildren: Jessica Rusch; Sally Rusch; Ryan Rusch; Robby Rusch; Eric Gendusa; Chelsea Gendusa. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers and sisters, Harold Rusch, Irene Rustad, Alan Rusch and Nila Taylor. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Amherst at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 21st, 2007 with Father Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 until 8 PM, with a Rosary Service at 7 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst. Visitation also on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Frank G. Rusch.
