FREDA “FRITZI” GRUNWALD
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 95, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born September 6, 1914 in the Town of Dayton, Waupaca Co., WI; daughter of William and Emelia (Bucholtz) Grunwald. Fritzi was a beloved nurse’s aide at Bethany Home for 12 years, and enjoyed her work there immensely. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and shared special moments with her nieces, Carolyn, Joyce, and Sharon. Fritzi was a faithful, lifelong member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Fritzi is survived by:

Granddaughter: Tana (Brady) Schulist of Waupaca, WI
Great-Grandchildren: Garrett and Chloe Meilinger of Waupaca, WI
Sister: Ramona Jensen of Waupaca, WI
Also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Emelia Grunwald; six brothers, Richard, Arnold, Emil, Herbert, Paul, and Clarence Grunwald; and five sisters, Rosa Grunwald, Edna Kienert, Alma Johanknecht, Elvira Mitzenheim, and Ella Danielson. A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI. Reverend Jeffrey Holtan will officiate. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, Sept. 29, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home and also from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca following the services on Wednesday. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
