Fredrick Bowers' Obituary
Fredrick M. Bowers, age 70, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Sunday, February 11th, 2007 in Appleton. He was born in Moylan, PA on March 27, 1936, the son of Charles and Aileen (Thomas) Bowers. Fred married Marilyn Matthies on September 1, 1983 in Boothwyn, PA. He was employed for most of his life by his family's business, Fibre-Metal Products of Concordville, PA. He also owned his own business, Chicago Safety and Supply. After he retired, Fred was employed in Waupaca by Waupaca Cab Co., Neuville Motors, and a number of other local businesses. He is survived by Wife: Marilyn Bowers, Waupaca. Children: Cyndy (Reggie) Layoff, Woodstock, IL; Tom (Tammy) Bowers, Crystal Lake, IL. Step-Son: Michael (Roxeanne) Matthies, Boulder, CO. Grandchildren: Jane Layoff; Andy Layoff; J-T Bowers; Tyler Bowers; Kendall Bowers; Erica Matthies; Izabelle Matthies. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; son, Fritz; and two brothers, Charles and Robert Bowers. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Reverend Dean Wheeler officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5 PM until 7 PM at the funeral home and on Thursday from 9 AM until the time of the service. www.hollyfuneralhome.com
