Fredrick Moser Sr.'s Obituary
Fredrick P. Moser, Sr., age 63, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10th, 2008, at William Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born in Milwaukee, WI, on March 22, 1945, a son of the late Frank and Emma (Neuman) Moser Sr. Fred married Kathleen Bennett on December 28, 1968 in Waukesha. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1966. Survivors include his wife, Katie Moser, Wild Rose, WI; children: Lisa (John) Williams, Stevens Point, WI; Fredrick Moser Jr., Waupaca, WI; Tammy (Tom) Barnaby, Woodbury, MN; grandchildren: Ryan, Molly & Haley Williams, Stevens Point, WI; Max, Alex & Zac Barnaby, Woodbury, MN; sisters: Jean (Jerry) Draves, Milwaukee, WI; Mary Bertzyk, Benson, AZ; brother: Frank Moser Jr., Montello, WI; brother-in-law Chuck (Judy) Bennett, Mt. Prospect, IL; and sister-in-law Barbara (Don) Regenfuss, Cudahy, WI. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, godson Jerry Draves Jr., cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law Duane and Olive Bennett, brother-in-law Larry Bertzyk Sr., and special friend Sally Carpenter. Funeral services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 14th, 2008, with Father Paul Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in the Caersalem Cemetery, Town of Springwater, WI. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 until 8 PM, with a prayer service to follow afterwards at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose. Friends and family may also call at the funeral home the hour preceding the service on Friday. A memorial is being established in the name of Fredrick Moser Sr. to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The family would like to thank the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Madison Veterans Hospital for their care and compassion. Fred was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, having a special bond with his identical twin brother, Frank. He worked as a millwright until his 1975 retirement because of a service connected disability. During his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Packers, NASCAR racing, his grandchildren, and spending time with his family, friends, and special friend Howard Lewallen. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed.
