Knowing Gail these last 10 years was an absolute pleasure! Such an inspirational woman, always positive, and if you needed her...she would be there for you. She had a beautiful, kind heart, and loved the Lord like no other. I will miss her. My condolences to her family.
Gail was a talented caring and lovely person. Her poetry was an inspiration.
The memory of her kindness and friendship is everlasting. DB
Gail was such a good neighbor to my dad, George Adams. We (his children), don't live in the Waupaca area, so we were blessed to have her nearby to call on. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Larry and to her whole family.
I'm so sorry to see this angel leave us so soon. She was a wonderful influence on me and I'm proud to have known her and been so close with my aunt. You rock, Aunt Gail. Your poetry is so beautiful and will stay with me for as long as I live. Here's a little John Donne for you and for so many of your friends and family you've touched while here on this earth and in this life:
Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.
She was my grandma. My best friend and the best person i ever knew. I miss her so much.
