Garth Bowker's Obituary
Garth N. Bowker, age 92, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Sunday, May 6th, 2007 at Crystal River Nursing Home in Waupaca. He was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on February 10, 1915, the son of Harry and Norma (Bade) Bowker. Garth married Anita Mullens on October 24, 1936 in Portage, WI. He is survived by Wife: Anita Bowker, Waupaca, WI; Daughter: Judith (fiance, Gaylord Nowak) Lick, Waupaca, WI; Son: Ronald (Mary) Bowker, Granbury, TX. Grandchildren: Pamela (Michael) Rule, Auburn, CA; Denise Lewis, Maryville, TN; David (Gretchen) Minton, Andover, MN; Jason Bowker, Texas; Jared (Melissa) Bowker, Ft. Atkinson, WI. Sisters: Delores Frost, Plainfield, WI; Harriet (Lewis) Heinze, Dayton, OH. Garth was preceded in death by his Parents; Stepmother: Hazel Bowker, Brother and Sister-in-law: Galen & Marion Bowker; Brother: Ira Bowker; Brother-in-law: Theron Frost; and Grandson: Thad Bowker. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Reverend Nate Liedtke officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Almond. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of the service. www.hollyfuneralhome.com
