Gary Grimm's Obituary
Gary A. Grimm, age 62, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 as the result of an automobile accident in the Town of Nekimi, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. He was born in Wild Rose, WI on July 2, 1945, the son of Everett and Esther (Wruck) Grimm. Gary graduated from Stockbridge High School in 1963, and went on to technical school. He served his country through the National Guard. Gary was an avid sportsfan and outdoorsman. He was a lover of nature and took many walks to appreciate God's handiwork. Gary was a man of great faith who walked in the footsteps of the Lord all of his life. He put family and friends in the foremost of his mind as he travelled through life. Gary was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all those he touched. He is survived by Son: Todd (Heather) Grimm, Menasha; Daughters: Jennifer Grimm, Waupaca; Sara Hales, Waupaca; Grandchildren: Elizabeth Dain, Nathan Grimm, Stephanie Demler, Reuben Hales, Corey Mentzel, Cameron Mentzel, and Natasha Hales; Step-Grandchildren: Elizabeth and Austin Michaelis; Brother: Eugene Grimm, Henderson, NV; Sister: Donna (Jerry) Meyers, Oshkosh; Former Spouse: Jeanne Tarr, Waupaca; God Daughter: Susan Eggers. Gary is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sister-in-law, Kay Grimm; and Step Father, Larry Frank A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca. The Reverend Jeffrey Holtan and Reverend Aaron Winkelman will officiate. Interment will be in Wautoma Union Cemetery in Wautoma. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 PM until 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Wednesday at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service. In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to benefit Gary's family.
