Genaro Turrubiates' Obituary
GENARO R. TURRUBIATES, age 81 of Waupaca, WI died Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Riverside Medical Center, Waupaca. Genaro was born September 19, 1924 in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the son of the late Rosalio and Rosa (Rodriguez) Turrubiates. Genaro married Julia Ledesma June 8, 1946 in McAllen, TX. He served in the military while in Mexico. Genaro had been employed with the Waupaca City Street Dept. for 19 years, retiring in 1990. Survivors include his wife - Julia; his children - Rosa (Efrain) Turrubiates and their children - Eric and Gregory Johnson; Roberto (Leanne) Turrubiates and their children - Jeremy, Christyna, Michelle (Mike) Manasterski, Danielle; San Juanita Rodriguez and her children - Anita and Yolanda Stigall and Larry Stigall Jr.; Maria (Bruce) Klepps and their children - Melodi (Dan) Taylor and Jaimee (Brad) Dick; Raul (Patty) Turrubiates and their children - Carrie (William) Tankersly, Anthony, Lamando , Nicole, James, Andrew, Hannah, and Jason Turrubiates; Joseph (Donna) Turrubiates and their children - Ty Joseph (Heather), Joseph Genaro (Jenny) Turrubiates, Tracy (Jeremy) Schoenecker; Genaro (Denise) Turrubiates Jr. and their children Angela (Anthony) Arrington and Amanda Turrubiates; Arthur (Alamar) Turrubiates and their children - Teresa, Monica, Caitlan, and Daniel; Julie (Eusebio) Morales and their children - Andre and Eric (Jennifer) Morales; Lisa (friend - Vicki Alloway) Turrubiates and Michael (friend - Ralph Johnson) Turrubiates; thirty-three great-grandchildren; three sisters - Martha, Josephina and Coca. Genaro was preceded in death by his parents, a brother - Tomas, a sister - Lecha, a son - Arturo and 3 grandchildren, Erica, Arturo and Donnado. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 29 at 1 PM at 1st Assembly of God Church in Waupaca with Rev. Bob Bohn, Rev. Bruce Klepps and Rev. Eusebio Morales officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 5:30 until 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Saturday from 11 AM - 1 PM at the church. Burial will be in Lind Center Cemetery in the Township of Lind, Waupaca County, WI. Holly Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
