Genevieve "Jean" M. Kimak's Obituary
Genevieve M. "Jean" Kimak, age 96, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose. She was born in Chicago, IL on January 10, 1926. She met the love of her life, Stephen, while working at a restaurant. They married on June 27, 1959. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2001.
Jean worked as a waitress and in factory work. Jean is a devoted mother to Edward and Ronald. Jean has been blessed with two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She has lived in Chicago, Illinois and Wild Rose, Wisconsin. Jean loved to travel. She and her family created lasting memories traveling to Florida and California. Today, Jean enjoys listening to the television. Her words of wisdom to the younger life is, "Don't get old." She would like to be remembered as a good person. Jean moved to the Wild Rose area in the 1970's and lived at Pineland Park for 40 years and then 5 years at Rosemore Village. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and spending time with her friends. Jean was a Lioness. She spent some time working at Wild Rose Manor. She is dearly loved by her family at Copperleaf Senior Living.
Survivors include her Sons: Edward (Lori) Kulik, Tinley Park, Illinois; Ronald (Debbie) Kulik, Algonquin, Illinois; Granddaughters: Maureen (Chad) Tallant, Texas; Kim Kulik, Algonquin, IL; Four Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband - Stephen and three brothers.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.
