Genevieve L. Trzebiatowski
Plover, WI (formerly of Amherst, WI) Age 84 - died on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Whispering Pines Assisted Living in Plover, WI. She was born on May 23, 1927 in the Township of Amherst, Portage County, WI, the daughter of Theodore and Katherine (Glodowski) Kubisiak. She married Jacob (Jack) Trzebiatowski on October 19, 1946 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church-Fancher. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1998.
Genevieve is survived by her children; Jack (Kathleen) Trzebiatowski of Brownsville, Ted (Shirley) Trzebiatowski of Amherst, Ron (Ann) Trzebiatowski of Amherst, Richard (Wanda) Trzebiatowski of Amherst, Gerald (Special Friend: Catherine Tobler) of Amherst, Gerard (Laura) Trzebiatowski of Iola, Mary (Jay) Katterhenry of Port Edwards, Sharon (Jim) Dombrowski of Amherst, Shirlee (Ken) Trzebiatowski-Kuklinski of Amherst Jct., and Patti (Larry) Wolosek of Stevens Point, 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers; Larry (Dorothy) Kubisiak of Milwaukee, Albert Kubisiak (Special Friend: Bernice Wroblewski) of Stevens Point, and James Kubisiak of Amherst, three sisters; Anne (Ken) Dachyk of Stevens Point, Evelyn Konkol of Stevens Point, and Marie Timmers of Milwaukee, and two sisters-in-law; Jeannie Burant of Milwaukee, and Helen Trzebiatowski of Salem. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, two grandchildren, her parents, a brother, and four sisters.
Genevieve was a life long member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church – Fancher and a member of the church Rosary Society. She was a 1946 graduate of Amherst High School. She loved square dancing, polka dancing, and camping. She and Jack enjoyed traveling and had visited many different areas throughout the United States.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church - Fancher, with the Reverend Father Robert Pedretti, Celebrant. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, WI on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the church. A Rosary Service will be held at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst on Monday evening at 7:00 PM. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
