Genevieve Marcella Wiora, age 88 of Plover, WI passed away Friday, April 26th, 2013 at Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point, WI. Genevieve was born on December 7, 1924 to Joseph and Mary (Swendrzynski) Wiora in Chicago, IL. She was an active member in the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine and Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando, FL. Genevieve is survived by her daughters, Diane (Dennis) Zube, Almond, WI; Ruth Peterson, Phoenix, AZ; Linda Potts, Wild Rose, WI; son, William Warzynski Jr., Wild Rose, WI; sister, Pearl Palmer, Ocoee, FL; cousins, Betty Purcell, Orlando, FL; Pat Chesla, Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Christina (Brad) Kurkowski, Plover, WI; Kathy Jo (Dan) Miner, Almond, WI; Marianne (Taylor) Dernbach, Almond, WI; great-grandchildren, Mya and Tia Dernbach; also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Genevieve is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Adel and brother, Joseph. Per Genevieve’s wishes her body was donated for medical research. A Memorial Service will be held in the fall at the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine and Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando, FL. Hardell-Holly Funeral Home of Almond is assisting the family with arrangements.
