George E. Alpaugh Jr. age 72 of Stevens Point, WI, passed away on August 13, 2017. George was born on July 1, 1945 in Newburgh, NY.
George is survived by his ex-wife Joyce De George of Amherst Junction, WI; his son George E. Alpaugh III of Winnebago, WI; his daughter Eleanor (John) Powell of Plover, WI; two brothers Norman (Peggy) Alpaugh of Kingston, NY and Lee (Sharon) Alpaugh of Newburgh, NY; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his parents George E. Alpaugh Sr. and Alice VanAmburgh; sister Lena Ayers; nephew Norman Charles Alpaugh Jr. and step brother Vincent Puterbaugh.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
