GEORGE L. BRESNAHAN, SR.
KING, WISCONSIN Our father, George Lynn Bresnahan, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin. He was a great man with an attitude we all could learn from. George was born August 3, 1917 in Crown Point, Indiana, the son of Owen and Pearl (Hochbaum) Bresnahan. He served our country in the U.S. Army from May 23, 1945 – December 7, 1945 during WWII. On August 27, 1938, George married Mary Ann Jacobchick in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She preceded him in death on January 3, 1993. George is survived by:

Daughter: Roselind Bresnahan of Grand Chute, Wisconsin
Son-in-law: David Price

Step-Brother: Michael (Donna) Bresnahan of Big Bend, Wisconsin
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Pearl Bresnahan; his wife, Mary Ann Bresnahan; a daughter, Joanne Price; his sister, Jean Kasian; and a very close friend, Edna Mae Howell. A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the MacArthur Hall Chapel at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin, Father Paul Vanden Hogen will preside. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the chapel on Tuesday. Burial will be at a later date at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin would be appreciated. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
