George L. Maday's Obituary
George L. Maday, age 85, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away on Tuesday, February 6th, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Almond, WI on January 22, 1933, a son of the late Martin and Evelyn (Henke) Maday.
He had served in the U.S. Navy. George married Darlene Westover, she preceded him in death. George married Marie (Ertl) York on July 15, 1988, she survives. George was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Wild Rose.
Survivors include his Wife: Marie Maday, Wild Rose, WI; Daughter: Judy (Carl) Ziebell, Markesan, WI; Step-Daughters: Kim (Tom) Walters, Wild Rose, WI; Tina York, Waupaca, WI; Step-Son: Jamie York, Wild Rose, WI; Mother-in-Law: Lois Anderson, Wild Rose, WI; Sister: Dorothy Vetter, Stevens Point, WI. He is further survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife - Darlene, brother - Melvin and daughter - Suezanne Armstrong.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Wild Rose at 1 PM on Friday, February 9th, 2018, with Rev. Marvin Ahlborn, officiating.
