George Schlotman's Obituary
George S. Schlotman, age 69, of the Town of Belmont, Portage Co., WI., passed away on Thursday, January 27th, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI., on September 20, 1941, a son of the late Stanley and Jeanette (Kingston) Schlotman. George married Marion J. Page on December 28, 1963. She preceded him in death on February 8, 1990. He then married Arlene (Gengler) Lewis on June 5, 1991 in Medford, WI. She survives. George enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his Wife: Arlene Schlotman, Almond, WI; Son: Rod (Ann) Schlotman, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Grandchildren: Jacob Schlotman, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Nichole Schlotman, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Step-Son: Tony Lewis, Almond, WI; Honorary Son: Mark Schoff, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Besides his parents and 1st wife, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Daniel Schlotman. Funeral Service will be held at Dopp Memorial Chapel, Wild Rose, WI., at 11 AM on Monday, January 31st, 2011, with Father Robert Stegmann officiating. Interment will be in the Greenvale (Dopp) Cemetery Town Belmont, Portage Co., WI. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9 AM until the time of the service at the Dopp Memorial Chapel.
