George Venzke's Obituary
George E. Venzke, age 76, of Wild Rose, WI , passed away Friday, November 2nd, 2007 after a long term illness. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. George was a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering and was employed at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for 28 years. He lived on Little Silver Lake in Wild Rose for the last 17 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Eve (nee: DiSalvo) Venzke, Wild Rose, WI; Loving father of Frank G. (Catherine) Venzke, Spokane, WA; Randy (Amy) Venzke, Dubuque, IA; Jennifer (Christopher) Cox, Sheboygan, WI. Adored grandfather of Jacob, Lydia, and Nicolette Venzke of Spokane, WA, Grace and George Venzke of Dubuque, IA, Brett, Carlee, and Nicholas Cox of Sheboygan, WI. He is further survived by three sisters and a brother. George was proceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at West Holden Lutheran Church in Wautoma on Friday, November 9th, 2007. A visitation with the family will be at noon with a service to begin at 1 PM. The Reverend Todd Murken will officiate. A private interment of cremains will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, the little zoo that could. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose assisted the family with arrangements.
