Georgia M. Kennedy's Obituary
Georgia M. Kennedy, age 95, of Appleton, formerly of Plainfield, passed away on Thursday, December 26th, 2019 in Appleton. She was born in Wisconsin Rapids on October 5, 1924, a daughter of the late George and Maude (Hakes) Turner.
Georgia enjoyed gardening, carpentry and volunteering for her community. She was a very kind, compassionate, caring person and the best Grama anyone could ask for.
Survivors include her Daughters: Georgina Halpin and Diane Morris; Grandchildren: Tammy Lor; Candy Hendricks; Michelle Hoppe; Teresa (Bill) Dugenske; Todd (Lisa) Morris; Jerry (April) Morris; Donovan (Katie) Morris; Great Grandchildren: Amber, Alex, James, Angel, Jesse, Nicole, Jennifer, TJ, Terrance, Jerry, Ashley, Jacob, Gavin and Jaxson. Georgia is further survived by numerous great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother - Winnie, sister - Clarice, a grandson - Ricky and a great granddaughter - Alyssa.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 10 AM until 12:00 (Noon) at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Interment will be in the Plainfield Village Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
