GERALD “JERRY” N. BORSCHE
MANAWA, WISCONSIN
FORMERLY OF APPLETON, WISCONSIN Age 66 passed away on Friday, November 24, 2006 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born October 10, 1940 in Appleton, WI; son of Arthur and Ione (Schubring) Borsche. On May 8, 1965, Jerry married Karen Schattl in Appleton, WI. Jerry was the owner of the Borsche Roofing Company, Inc. in Appleton, WI. He operated this family business for over 25 years until his retirement in 2003. At that time, he retired with Karen to Manawa, WI. Jerry is survived by:

Daughter: Gretchen (Samuel) Wilson of Angola, Africa
Grandchildren: Bridget, Coleman, and Gillian of Angola, Africa
Sister: Dr. Beverly Kraly of Neillsville, WI
Nephews: Christopher Kraly of Cedarburg, WI
Joseph Kraly of Alexandria, KY
Aunt: Alice Borsche of Chicago, IL
Mother-in-law: Velda Schattl of Appleton, WI He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Rev. Joseph Kraly, and father-in-law, Alfred Schattl. A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 12:00 Noon at the First English Lutheran Church, 326 E. North Street, Appleton, WI 54911 (located on the corner of Drew Street and North Street). Reverends George Detweiler and Charles Tews will officiate. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 – 12:00 Noon at the church. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Gerald N. Borsche. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
