Gerald L. Darrow
Waupaca, WI Age 63 – died on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born on January 9, 1945 in Rockford, IL, a son of the late Leland and Marjorie (Nelsen) Darrow. Gerald is survived by a brother, several half-brothers and half-sisters, many nieces and nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Gerald graduated from Auburn Sr. High School in Rockford, IL., in 1964. He had been employed as a Mental Health Technician for the State of Illinois. He served on the Swiss Tinker Cottage Association Board of Trustees in Rockford, IL. He had also been a volunteer Teacher's Aide for the Waupaca, WI School District for 3 years. Gerald was a lifetime member of the Waupaca Historical Society. A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM, with Father Paul Vanden Hogen, officiating. Interment will be in the Parfreyville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home on Monday, one hour prior to the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to the Waupaca Learning Center Library in memory of Gerald L. Darrow. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting with the arrangements.
