Gerald E. Smith's Obituary
Gerald E. Smith, age 82, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Veterans Home. Gerald was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 31, 1925, the son of the late Eurage and Anna (Frauk) Smith. Gerald married June L. Strand in 1960 and she preceded him in death on May 6, 1992. He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War. Gerald is survived by his son: Timothy (Therese Adlhock-Smith) Smith of Maple Valley, WA; three grandchildren: Melanie Cole; Blair Smith and Alison Smith. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, June, a son, Michael and a granddaughter, Angela. Graveside services will be on Weds. July 23 at 10:30 AM at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee.
