Gerald H. Gagas' Obituary
Gerald H. Gagas, age 70, of Scandinavia, WI, passed away on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point. He was born in Stevens Point on October 19, 1947, a son of the late Hubert and Mary (Pliska) Gagas.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Gerald was a truck driver for H.O. Wolding for 43 years. He married the love of his life, Joyce (Ostrowski) Dombrowski on February 13, 1999 in Stevens Point. Gerald was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. He was an avid fan of NASCAR Racing and the Green Bay Packers.
Survivors include his Wife: Joyce Gagas, Scandinavia, WI; Mother: Mary Gagas, Stevens Point, WI; Sister: Dawn Gagas, Stevens Point, WI. He was preceded in death by his father - Hubert and two sisters - Linda and Shirley. He is further survived by numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia at 12:00 (Noon) on Saturday, November 4th, 2017. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church.
