Gerald L. Zastrow's Obituary
Mr. Gerald Lee Zastrow, age 83, of Waupaca, formerly of Milwaukee and Kenosha,
passed away Tuesday, September 12th, 2006 at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega Wisconsin. Mr. Zastrow was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 8, 1923, he was the son of the late George and Hazel (Lee) Zastrow. On July 21, 1943, he married Rita Gradall in Milwaukee. Gerald served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was employed at American Motors for 34 years. He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kenosha, Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, former member of Western Kiwanis, member of Masonic Lodge #47 F&AM , past president of Kenosha Shrine, serving as President in 1968, former member of Elk Lodge #750. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. He is survived by Wife: Rita Zastrow, Waupaca, WI; Sons: Terrence (Louise) Zastrow, Kenosha, WI; Gerald (Heidi) Zastrow, Amherst, WI; Daughters: Barbara (Richard) Lenz, Kenosha, WI; Karen Evans, Waukesha, WI; Debra (Keith) Vaughn, Anchorage, AK.,
12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenneth Zastrow. Funeral Mass at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community, Waupaca, Wisconsin. at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 16th, with Reverend Roy Geenen officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery Waupaca, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held Saturday 1-2 P.M. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community.
