Gertrude Brey's Obituary
Mrs. Gertrude Brey, age 93, of Poy Sippi, passed away Thursday, April 27th, 2006 at Juliette Manor in Berlin where she had been a resident for 3 years. Mrs. Brey was born in the Town of Wolf River, Wisconsin on June 30, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Cora (Ulrich) Engel. On June 19,1938, she married Clarence C. Brey. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1999. She was a member of Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church Poy Sippi, WI. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, reading and crocheting. She is survived by Sons: Donald (LaVerne) Brey, Poy Sippi, WI, Duane (Jennifer) Brey, Markesan, WI.; .; Delwyn (Marlys) Brey, Poy Sippi, WI.; Darwin Brey, Pine River; Eleven Grandchildren, Twenty Two Great Grandchildren, and Sister in law: Helen Engel, Pine River. Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents, Husband: Clarence Brey; Two Sisters: Hazel Engel, Marie Roggow and One Brother: Daniel Engel. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held at Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church, Poy Sippi, Wisconsin at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, April 30th, with Reverend Fred Mueller officiating. Interment will be in the Brushville Cemetery Town Bloomfield, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-2:30 P.M. at Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church.
