Gina J. Kindler's Obituary
Gina J. Kindler, age 41, passed away on February 9, 2026. Gina was born on April 29, 1984, to Gary and Gayle (Ballerstein) Krogwold. From an early age, she showed a deep compassion for others, especially animals, a passion that would shape both her career and her life.
Her love for animals began as a child, from barn cats to horses, that led her to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. A role she embraced wholeheartedly. Gina deeply cared for the animals entrusted to her, as well as her own beloved pets (her cats Jack and Daisy as well as her horses Wyatt and Mango). She always took great pride in providing comfort, care, and advocacy for those who could not speak for themselves.
She and her husband Chris were married September 3, 2011. They enjoyed many camping and road trips amongst other outdoor activities.
Her beautiful smile could brighten a room, and her laughter and presence brought comfort, warmth, and connection. Through simple conversations, shared smiles, and moments of laughter, she left behind memories that continue to bring light to those who loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Kindler; parents, Gary and Gayle Krogwold; brother, Greg (Laura); sister, Gwen (Zach); and cherished nieces and nephews, Wren, Eliza, Mason, and Owen, who brought her immense joy. Along with many special and dear friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday February 14, 2026 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst.
