Gladys H. Castner's Obituary
Gladys H. Castner (formerly Gladys H. Bachler), age 101, of Waupaca, WI, formerly of Menomonie, WI and Wheeler, WI, passed away on Thursday, April 17th, 2014 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born in Bloomer, WI on February 6, 1913, a daughter of the late Harry and Mabel (Catlin) Coddington.
Gladys married Howard Bachler on July 2, 1932. He preceded her in death. She married Carl Castner on September 21, 1981. He also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her Children: Valerie Lundgren, Lake Mary, FL; Dale (Sharon) Bachler, Sun City, AZ; Ann (Wayne) Verdon, Waupaca, WI; 10 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Besides her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by 5 sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 10 AM on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014, with Reverend Mary Bope officiating. Interment will be in the Hay River Cemetery, Town of Hay River, Dunn Co.,WI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
