Gladys Johnson's Obituary
Gladys A. Johnson, age 98, of Waupaca, WI died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Bethany Home. Gladys was born in Waupaca on July 13, 1908, the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Barr) Barnhart. On September 16, 1929 Gladys married Harlan Johnson in Waukegan, IL and he preceded her in death on March 1, 1986. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca.
Gladys is survived by her sons: Willard (Bud) (Marian) Johnson of Waupaca and Douglas (Deb) Johnson of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren: Jay (Melissa) Johnson; Scott (Sp. Friend-Lauri) Johnson; Kurt (Tammy) Johnson; Kerry (Todd) Waitrovich and Greg (Amber) Johnson; her great grandchildren: Matthew, Ashley, Tyler, Robbie; Ryan, Josh, Mariah, Zachery; Josephine, Benjamin & Avery and a Great Great Granchild: Jayson. Funeral Services will be on Monday, Jan. 8 at 1:30 PM at Bethany Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Sachs & Rev. Nathan Liedtke, officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at Bethany Home Chapel. Holly Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
